Hope all is well. I’m sitting here in Chicago O’hare waiting to board a flight to LA that will eventually lead me to Thailand to cover a wedding for two Australians. I’m so excited to shoot this wedding for the couple. Pete works for a records label in Perth and Sharyn for a marketing company. I can’t believe they aren’t getting married on the gorgoeous coastline of Western Australia (Perth is one of the most coolest and most beautiful cities I have ever been in). That said, their wedding in Phuket is going to be stunning – at the finest boutique hotel on the island I can’t wait to see what they have put together. I will post pictures soon! In the mean time here is a photograph of some star trails I did a week or so ago from 12-2am. This is the most patient form of photography I have ever experienced, also cold!

Its called Trash the Dress! In the last couple years wedding work has gone a little fashion across the country and a lot of brides are doing some really intense stuff in their dresses…even on their wedding days. However, Most do the crazy stuff post wedding. Don’t believe me…check out Trash The Dress They get sandy, Muddy, dirty. I think its sweet and I say, who cares, along with them. If you aren’t up for this on your wedding day – plan a shoot with me to trash your dress. You get to look gorgeous in your dress one last time and we have way more freedom to take amazing shots- you could even bring the new hubby along for the intimate stuff.

I very rarely recommend any other vendors, but for this company I feel comfortable and even excited about recommending. He does some of the best wedding Videography I have seen. My clients who have used him to shoot have been amazingly impressed too. Him and his wife are amazingly creative and put their Heart into their work. They truly put a massive effort into each wedding and you can tell. Make sure you check out his site and the video wedding samples on his site!
