Pine Knob Mansion Wedding Photography – Jacquie & Dan

Jacquie was one of my top ten favorite brides of all time. So sweet, humble, genuine, and fun to be around. She was just all heart all day and the day was so emotional and beautiful. Enjoy the images!

This shot is for the French Manicure. I can appreciate a quality French manicure.

I love wildflowers in bouquets. I just gives them a beautiful whimsy type feel.

I love the bear hug shot on the left – you can really feel that.

Jacquies Dad gave a super emotional speech and had everyone crying.

I think Jacquie was touched the most though.

The late night vibe was awesome at the Mansion.

Chenin & Rick Sneak Peak

Love these Dreamy images. Some of my favorites of the year.

Pine Lake Wedding Photography MI – Betsy & Matt

OMG you have to see these wedding pictures – A Fun Loving, Easy going, Good times Wedding Couples Wedding. We had so much fun all day; You can tell by Betsy’s perma smile! The guys maybe crossed the uber fun goofy line while they were getting ready but everything cleaned up once we got the country club. Enjoy the images and thanks again!

Ceremony & Reception: Pine Lake Country Club
Flowers: Emerald City Designs
Coordination: The China Closet

The Day started off at Todd’s Room. Todd did the make up himself and did a great job. I love shooting in this space. So many angles possible.

Heres where the guys crossed the line and started getting carried away. Fun photos though.

I love the drama, tension, concern here.

Theres me directing! sweet! lol I kinda look like I’m attacking her! I was actually saying the clouds look so amazing behind you – I’m going to take a shot thats really wide and big (cue my arms up) so you can see the storm behind you.

Cue the Hurricane.

The bonus of storm like this is the sunset. They are always amazing.

Kids on summer vaca at the pool at pine lake enjoying the bride.

A little bridesmaids pizazz never hurt.

The first look! Look at that smile! So happy!

Before she walked down the aisle dad lost it.

OMG he’s so cute!! And his name is Charlie! Which is the perfect name for ridiculous cuteness.

So it turns out Matt’s family is pretty crazy too. I didn’t ask for this is just came out. Its in the genes.

Betsy sang a song for Matt. It was actually really well done too!

Brides take note – Gluten free deserts and dinner. I’m celiac and really appreciate this. I know your gluten free guests will too!

Matt & Betsy put together a 2 minute skit video that was unbelievable. Their cousin who is a very well known director put it together. it was Hilarious!

The dancing was pretty hardcore with this group.

And Detroit Coney’s to end the night. Classic.

The Metropolitan Club Wedding Photography – Chicago – Sara & Mike

76 Stories up the Willis Tower (you may remember it as the Sears Tower) Sara & Mike were married at the Metroplitan Club in Chicago. It was a beautiful elegant day there are some gorgeous images! Enjoy!

The little red accent flowers really take the bridesmaids bouquet to the next level. Beautiful flowers.

Whiskey, cufflinks, and the view from the bar.

The best mans speech. Any best mans speech that talks about skiing is a great one in my book!

I love the golden consistency of the lighting here of the Palmer House’s beautiful warm deco styled lobby.

Lolalapooza from 800 feet up!

Sara held her great great great grandfathers bible as she walked down the aisle. He was the senator of Pennsylvania.

Marriage vows are so extremely significant. I think as your standing there you know what your saying will have ripple effects and impact your life in untold ways for 50 or 60 years. You know that you will have to sacrifice and suffer and also have great times and all that future is being summed up into this one moment on promise. Its really emotional and it actually got the best of me at my wedding just like it did Sara here. I can totally understand.

I wonder if shots like this on the right will have vintage value in 50 years. I think they will. Right now it just looks like there are two average cars in the background. I guess the taxi scores extra points but I think this shot will be an investment in time and will be really most interesting many years from now.

The Whitney Detroit – Wedding Photography – Julie & Bruno

One of the coolest weddings we’ve shot all year. Awesome flowers hand made by Julie, gorgeous venue, custom embellished dress, amazing vibe pumping DJ, sick white dance floor and Great food. This party was so great Lisa and I stayed after a bit to do some dancing ourselves! It was easily the best party in all of Detroit that Saturday evening. Julie works as a graphic designer in the automotive industry and Bruno is in architecture. They are both creative people and you could really feel their creative touch on this event. Julie really put together all the flowers which is an amazing feat in itself. She also cut a 2 foot slit up her dress and put in American Apparel plummage to boot with a custom zipper. Sweet! That is a creative risk if I say so myself! Such a great party! Enjoy the inspiration!

The first dance with the Whitney mansion in the background.

San Pelegrino – the perfect choice for an Italian wedding.

It fits wow! Wait does it look good in back..? Yes it does! Yes! hahaha!

Her hair was amazing.

The First look.

Julies Sister lost it in the car on the way to bridal party pictures. She put on her sunglasses to hide.

These dogs are Julie & Brunos lil babies. They love em so much they had to have them in the service.

Here is the amazing plummage. Julie also sewed on all the flowers.

Some of the best wedding catering I’ve had and seen at an event. The whitney nailed it.

OMG this shot is sooo sweet! Kudos to Lisa www.lisasiesser.com who took this one. Generations enjoying the party.

The party with woodward in the background. Soo cool!
